Meet the mentors: Livia Klemencsics

Here we introduce one of the London Practice Forum mentors delivering 1-to-1 mentoring sessions and “CV surgeries” through a series of free, regular and bookable slots.

“Architecture is a closely knit community, where a lot relies on chance encounters and good relationships. As such, it can be difficult to enter the career path and find the right place for your skills and interests. I believe it is important to continue sharing our experience to help others learn from it, and maybe even improve their chances at succeeding in a career in design.

I am an architect at Mæ Architects. I joined the practice in December 2014, and spent four years working as a Part II Assistant on residential and community projects before completing my Part III in 2018. Born in Hungary, raised in Germany and qualified as an architect in the UK, I have had to navigate my way through my fair share of different cultures and systems to be where I am now - and I hope to make some of this easier for future generations through mentoring.”
